“We're not simply preparing students for their next assessment. We're preparing them for a lifetime of success.”
In many traditional classroom and tutoring settings, students can become focused on remembering procedures and producing the expected answer rather than understanding the principles behind it. When a question changes format, that gap in understanding can affect confidence and performance.
With more than 10 years of teaching experience, Adithia Krishna observed this pattern across students in Perth and internationally. He saw that strong potential could be held back when foundational concepts were not fully developed, while capable students could also stop progressing when they were not given enough challenge.
He founded AKademy38 to create a learning environment where students do more than complete lessons. They develop stronger conceptual understanding, problem-solving ability, academic confidence and independent learning habits.
Adithia personally oversees curriculum development and mentors core cohorts, helping ensure that the AKademy38 learning philosophy is reflected across teaching, resources and student support.
We do not believe in superficial memorization. Our approach focuses on constructing understanding systematically, encouraging students to reason through problems, practise deliberately and build increasingly independent learning habits.
We create an environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes and keep working without fear of embarrassment. Confidence grows alongside genuine understanding.
Difficult problems are treated as opportunities to think, adapt and persist. Students learn that progress often comes through working thoughtfully through challenges.
Complex problems are broken into fundamental principles so students can understand why a method works and apply their reasoning to unfamiliar questions.
Students progressively develop the ability to plan, monitor and take responsibility for their own learning, with independence becoming an increasingly important part of the process.
Consistent routines in preparation, working-out, presentation, time management and independent practice help students build reliable academic habits.
Academic progress is strengthened when students remain curious. We encourage questions, real-world connections and discussion that help learning extend beyond the immediate task.
